Between three advanced learning degrees and Advanced Placement English in High School (thank you, Miss Joyner), I have learned how to read and how to write about what I just read. We all know that most of what we read in school was unbearably boring. I don’t have a lot of time or patience for boredom. I have a critical eye and a scathing sense of humor. Between the two, I have become an excellent critic. My editorial skills were honed in the MALS program at UNC-G. MALS enabled me to refine my ability to critique and reflect. I have no sympathy for jargon. The dictionary is my friend.
